Welcome to the Derbyshire Children and Young People's Health Promotion Website

Through this site we aim to provide information and support for those working with children and young people aged 0-19 in Derbyshire to help improve health and wellbeing outcomes.

The Derbyshire Children and Young People's Health Promotion Programme (CYPH) has evolved from Derbyshire Healthy Schools. The extended programme aims to embed health promotion activity as part of all services for children and young people and their families; ensuring that across all children's services there is a consistent approach to partnership working. By using our Health Promotion Planning Tools localities, multi-agency teams (MATs), services and schools can follow a process to improve the health outcomes for children and young people that have been identified and prioritised by the use of local data and knowledge.

The CYPH team offer a range of training courses, resources and support materials, and a small grants scheme to help those working with the planning tools and other aspects of health promotion activity. All resources developed as part of Derbyshire Healthy Schools Programme are also featured on the website including those specifically designed for schools and the curriculum.

Many downloads on this site are restricted by membership, membership is given FREE to those that work with children and young people in Derbyshire. If you are a professional working outside of Derbyshire please contact us if you are interested in any of our resources.
